Dear Participant,

Currently I am working on a project that pertains to the Behavioral and Social Sciences titled "How could the government decrease profanity and verbal abuse in a real world setting?" I would greatly appreciate it if you would contribute to my project by completing the short surveys below. Both of which are completely anonymous. Please take the first survey and then watch the two minute video. Immediately after watching the two minute video, please take the second survey. This entire process should take no more than five or six minutes. PG-13 movies are allowed to contain one F. word. Many students are home schooled or missed school during the advisory period session on the dangers of profanity and verbal abuse. This study indicates that profanity is common language among youth. Therefore a video before a PG-13 movie documenting the effects of verbal abuse and the consequences of profanity is now a necessity. Parents think they can protect their child by not allowing their child to view PG-13 movies, however they will soon see these kids in their activities afterschool or in the workplace. Isolation only works for a short period of time.
